A Brief on the Activities in Public Education

International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology for its ultimate purpose,that is reducing vulnerability against the earthquake and parallel to research activities in the fields of seismology and structural affairs emphasises on public education.
The main purpose of public education department of IIEES is to raise the safety culture among all goups of the society.
The educational programmes have been chosen by considering the importance and situation of the audiences in the society, the factors which have been cosidered are executive ability, skill and individual factors such as age, gender, education, and population. The educational matters have been prepared by considering the audiences` needs.
