The main duties and functions of this department include the planning of programs, guidance, and supervision of all affairs related to technology development, the transfer of scientific-technical knowledge in the field of seismology and earthquake engineering, participation in initiation, development, and strengthening of technology, supporting its development, identifying technical needs related to relevant matters in the country, establishing communication with related industries, preparing and drafting various contracts for project implementation, and overseeing the proper execution of these projects.
