Lifeline Earthquake Engineering Department has started its activities since 1991, two years after the establishment of IIEES, as a research group of IIEES Structural Engineering Research Center. Lifelines are of water and wastewater systems, energy systems, transportation systems and communication systems. The main goal of this group is to perform the researches effective in upgrading the seismic behaviors of lifelines, both existing and future ones.
