Testing on full-scale structures or large structural elements provides precise data on how buildings, bridges, and other infrastructures respond to forces. For example, in earthquake engineering, shake table tests can simulate seismic motions, allowing engineers to observe the behavior of multi-story buildings subjected to different earthquake intensities.
