Beijing University of Technology (BJUT), International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES) and UNESCO Regional Education and Research Center on Earthquake Risk and Resilience in West and Central Asia (RCECWA) have started a scientific collaboration on earthquake riskprevention and mitigation for urban area and infrastructure systems, which is a macro-issue involving many research topics. In this line, a series of webinarshave been outlined to share the research experiences in seismic hazard, vulnerability, risk and resilience analysis of urban systems; as well as disaster economy.
